Tank textures
It might take a few goes to get these right as it is rather hard to make a good looking sprite in 25 by 13 pixels. But it will happen.
So, what does a tank sprite include?
- An approximately trapezoidal base with treads.
- A highlight strip marking out areas on the tank in the player's colour.
- a gun texture to replace the arrow which rotates and is somehow telescopic. Not sure how this works. Does it de-form, does the end get hidden, does the base get hidden while it slides up and down, or what? Low resolution may make this a moot point.

I'd suggest having the gun telescoping literally, as a two-stage cartoony sort of tube-within-a-tube arrangement. But i'd say the top priority is making sure it's kept clear exactly how much power you're dialing in - it should be a fairly big difference between none and full.
