Playable area size

The current play-area is defined and limited by the 800x600 resolution however that would ideally be fixed to allow for full screen maximisation.
Could the combat area itself come in a range of sizes, to be defined when starting a server? Or perhaps a server could be set to cycle between map sizes.
Close combat - equates to 400x300 pixels full size.
Classic arena - 800x600
Battle field - 1024x768
Epic conflict - 1280x1024

Not everyone has 1280x1024 though, even in fullscreen... would need to implement some sort of view scrolling for the larger arenas...

Not necessarily a problem; if the playable area were scaled to the window size then the 1:1 ratio would be broken; the playable area would simply be squished or stretched to fill the available space.
