mouse scroll in main menu er, works

Using the mouse scroll wheel (under windows xp at least) causes the text in the menu to attempt to scroll, jiggling around unreadably. Sometimes if a window overlaps the boom trapezoid window and the mousewheel is used in it, the text gets stuck in scrolling upward.
