Weapon texture tinting
Reported by Mark | November 8th, 2008 @ 06:23 PM | in Real Artists Ship
A grey projectile will look cold against a warm background and vice versa, breaking the illusion of lighting in the environment. This effect could be solved if the weapon textures were tinted slightly according to the texture set currently in use.
:: Each background texture set would have its own lighting signature and the weapon textures would be tinted accordingly.

Weapon textures so far:
Bomb, Mirv, Deaths Head, Missile
Nukes and rollers on the way.
Textures will need to be scaled by about 50% of their resolution, and then relative to their power.
[Edit] Erk, sorry about all the updates - can the redundant [New] updates be killed?
